Volunteer Club Coach Coordinator - Southern Football League
Southern Football LeagueThe Volunteer Club Coach Coordinator oversees all other coaches and assists them in areas that need improving.
Duties:
- Select coaches and allocate them to teams that suit their skill set.
- Responsible for the developing of a positive culture among other coaches in the club.
- Ensure that all coaches are adequately accredited.
- Oversees training drills and skills and offers assistance when needed.
- Assists with the development of all coaches, this includes organising education nights when it is necessary.
- Gives recommendations on when new equipment is needed or is in need of repair.
- Provides assessment and evaluation, with this information they act on areas that need improvement.
- Developing a club coaching handbook that can be issued to all of the clubs coaches.
Qualifications:
- At least a level 2 coaching certificate.
- Willingness to attend a Coaching Coordinator course.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of coaching and then have the ability to share their skills with others.
- Organisational skills are essential.
- Ability to encourage and inspires others.
- Because of the different demographics of the teams they will look after, they need to have well developed communication skills that can be changed at ease depending on their audience.
- Must have the ability to communicate with passion and to motivate others.
Experience:
- As the Volunteer Club Coach Coordinator, you must be comfortable in a coaching role and therefore, have extensive experience coaching both juniors and seniors.
