ACH Yankalilla are looking for volunteers to support their personal trainer in providing individualised fitness/mobility programs for their older residents. This may include walking, using gym equipment and following specialist programs. Volunteers assist ACH staff to encourage residents to engage in physical activities and increase mobility. Volunteers need to have excellent communication skills, enjoy working as a member of a team and follow instructions. Some knowledge of short term memory loss/dementia would be beneficial.
