Our Social Inclusion team is looking for a volunteer to accompany an older person to a shopping centre and support them with maintaining their independence through regular shopping outings. Do you have a positive attitude to life and love seeing other people better their lives? Do you enjoy learning and really listening to what other have to say? Are you looking for a volunteer role that will enrich your life as well as other peoples? Do you have a couple of hours available each fortnight or each month? Are you in a position to dedicate 6 months to build up relations and skills to make a meaningful difference to the lives of older people and people with a disability in our community?

City of Parramatta is currently looking for more people to join their acclaimed Social Inclusion Volunteer team.

Our team of 110 Volunteers are vital to our work. Volunteers are supported with training, travel reimbursements, and ongoing supervision & support. There are opportunities to mix with other volunteers throughout the year and be a part of a valued team.
