Main duties include:

1) Lead the organisation, management and promotion of event held by VSC including Volunteer of the Year Awards and VSC Annual General Meeting. 2) Initiate opportunities or liaise with community organisations and VSC Clients to promote volunteerism and to promote VSC programs eg stalls at shopping centres, guest speaker at educational institutions etc.

* Liaise internally with other VSC program leads

3) Keep relevant records of events including photos. 4) Develop and manage appropriate resources for all events. 5) Provide pre and post media information to VSC Media lead. 6) Other duties as directed by Executive Director.

  • Organise catering with chosen catering service

  • Organise event materials and equipment
  • Arrange, convene and manage event volunteers
  • Set up event space: food and drinks, printed material, name badges, tables, chairs, banners etc
  • Provide backup to reception
  • duties include answering the phone, emails and making appointments
