• Provide a Justice of Peace service in line with the requirements of the NSW Justice Department and the JP Code of Conduct:

• witness a person making a statutory declaration
• witness a person making an affidavit
• Certify that a copy of an original document is a true and accurate copy. • Refer clients to the appropriate service for legal advice and information • Keep appropriate data and records in JP Logbook

Requirements:

• Good people skills

• Great communication skills - verbal and written

• Comfortable interacting with people from diverse cultural and language groups
• Punctual & reliable
• Previous experience is an asset
