There are many ways that you can help make our libraries an incredible place to visit including shelving books, processing library materials, covering books, delivering library materials to seniors, helping customers explore computer technology, assisting with Book Sales and much more. It means developing new skills, sharing your love of reading and libraries with others, and making new friends. The Busselton and Dunsborough Public Libraries have a number of rewarding opportunities for volunteers including: Shelving Assistant: Are you a stickler for neatness and order? Use your organisational skills at the library to assist with sorting and shelving books and other library material. Organise and tidy shelves and displays. Read spine labels and re-shelve books in correct order. Assist in sorting, packing and unpacking of daily book and mail deliveries. For this role you will require organisational skills, an understanding of alpha/numeric order and attention to detail. Opportunities available at both Busselton and Dunsborough Libraries.
