Dining Room Assistant - Women's Crisis Centre
St Vincent de Paul Society SASt Vincent de Paul has a Women’s Crisis Centre providing an emergency crisis accommodation service to women and their children (and their pets), giving a ‘soft landing’ for women in crisis - including victims of domestic violence seeking temporary safe accommodation.
Accommodation at the Centre offers recently renovated family rooms, each accommodating one adult and up to three children, with welcoming communal areas and a tranquil garden setting.
Three meals are provided daily, together with laundry and other services. Pet boarding is also provided working in partnership with animal welfare agencies.
The Dining Room Assistant duties are to coordinate the dining room during the meal time, welcoming the women and children, serving meals, and chatting to the families. We have a vacancy on a Sunday afternoon/evening, 4.30pm - 7pm on a fortnightly basis.
