Connect Health & Community is a not-for- profit Community Health Service, located in Bentleigh East. We are a great team of caring and dedicated volunteers and staff who are trained in providing health and community services. The Community transport program provides safe door-to-door transport for people who are socially isolated due to a lack of suitable transport options within the Glen Eira, Kingston and Bayside area As a volunteer you would be fully supported through various training sessions, provided with regular communications via newsletters and invited to join with staff to participate in activities and opportunities throughout the year.
Connect Health's community transport program is seeking volunteers who are interested in assisting people to and from their appointments. Drivers will have the option of using a Connect Health car, or their own vehicle, if preferred.

• You can choose to volunteer weekly, fortnightly or at ad hoc

• You can choose to volunteer on a set day, or swap days continuously each week.

• Shift duration – from 1 hour up to 5 hours a day, you choose. This is a role that can work around you!

• Days of operation: Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays)

• Time: Between 9am - 4pm

• Start date: ASAP

• Duration: Ongoing - as long as you are available
