We are looking for Human Service Workers – either a welfare, social or community development worker who is eligible to become a member of the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA) or equivalent. We need people in all areas of Melbourne, and would require approximately 5-15 hours per month.

Duties include:

1. Conducting volunteer training workshops on a casual basis according to the organisation's manual
2. Supporting the local Volunteer Bank committee by attending their regular meetings when possible
3. Supporting the Area Manager on visiting families where exceptional assessments are required

The volunteer position is suitable to a retired or part time professional who would enjoy contributing their skills on a casual basis to the MBVS organisation.
