Under the guidance of a Lead Cook, volunteers work as a team to prepare, cook, and serve the meal, as well as clean up afterwards. We need a new volunteers to join our team from 9.30am - 1.30pm on the following dates: Thursday 9th February, Thursday 9th March, Thursday 20th April, Thursday 11th May, Thursday 8th June, Thursday 13th July, Thursday 10th August, Thursday 14th September, Thursday 12th October, Thursday 9th November, Thursday 14th December.

During the morning you'll do everything from washing veggies to washing dishes (we do have a dishwasher, but those pots need to be scrubbed!), from stirring pots to serving guests. You will need to comply with all relevant Brunswick Neighbourhood House policies and procedures, and be flexible and in the mood for people on the day :-) If you are looking for a friendly, communal experience, and are comfortable using knives and other cooking utensils, we'd love to hear from you.
