Corporate Team Volunteering at The Infants Home

The Infants’ Home is a not for profit charity that provides award-winning integrated early childhood education, family day care, early intervention and support services to thousands of children (aged from 0 to 6) and their families.

For almost 150 years we have challenged conventional wisdom to protect children at risk and strengthen families. Thirty percent of our onsite services are targeted to support children and families living with vulnerabilities or who have additional needs. These services are offered at no cost so those children and families in need can break the cycles of hardship, fear and hopelessness and forge better future for themselves.

As a registered charity we rely on volunteers to support our work with children and families, to help us fulfil our mission to provide “each child, every opportunity”.

Hundreds of volunteers work with us each year to help maintain our equipment and beautiful grounds, create resources for children, support events, and contribute to a clean and pleasant environment for staff, children and families. With no two Volunteering days being alike.

By spending a day doing activities like gardening, maintenance or event support, your team give back to the community, increase skills among team members and support your organisation’s corporate social responsibility goals. Plus, if your team has been working from home during COVID, a day offsite volunteering is a great way to come back together and bond as a team.

We are now taking bookings for corporate volunteer days from February 2022, with a range of options available.

PLEASE NOTE:The Infant’ Home is committed to COVID-safe volunteering. All volunteers will need to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a TGA approved vaccine and must show their vaccination certificate to our staff on check in. Masks will need to be worn indoors. Social distancing and hand hygiene practices will also be required. COVID safe requirements are dependent on local restrictions and current advice from the NSW Departments of Health and Education.
