5mbs 99.9FM is a community music radio station providing Jazz, Blues, World & Classical music across the metropolitan area of Adelaide, South Australia. Music programs are broadcast 24-hours a day, every day of the year. 5mbs live streams all programs, nationally and internationally, through our website www.5mbs.com The Station is staffed entirely by volunteers who share a passion for music and for sharing it with the wider community. A Board of Directors and a Coordination Committee, led by our Station Manager, oversee the activities of over 120 Volunteers. 5mbs has a solid and loyal community of regular listeners. The Station has also developed links and promotes many local and Australian musical groups, orchestras, musicians and music festivals.
