CLAN Midland is a not for profit, community based family support service. We are funded by the Department for Community Development to provide a volunteer based home-visiting service to families with children from 0 to 12yrs. CLAN Midland was established in 1993 and is committed to supporting families with young children to function independently making healthy positive choices for themselves. We believe in a flexible and informal approach to family support, we recognise that all families are different and that families have the right to choose their own direction. CLAN Midland staff and volunteers support families by recognising and building on existing strengths. Volunteers work as part of a supportive team, initial and ongoing training is provided, as is supervision.
