Mater volunteers contribute their unique skills and life experience across all areas of the organisation including the hospitals and non-clinical departments. Whether it’s offering companionship and support, a cup of tea or a book, escorting people to their destination or providing administrative support, each volunteer role contributes directly to making sure patients and their families have an exceptional experience at Mater. We also have volunteers who assist us on a range of Mater Foundation fundraising events throughout the year. Our volunteers are a multicultural group from diverse social and professional backgrounds.
