Down Syndrome Queensland’s mission is to provide practical and emotional support to people with Down syndrome and their families, now and for their future. We are the experts on all things Down syndrome. We aim to support, advocate and empower people with Down syndrome to take their rightful places as valuable and contributing members of their communities. We provide expert advice and quality services to empower individuals with Down syndrome to fulfill their potential, now and into the future. We provide whole of life support to families & individuals, with programs & services for all age groups from birth to adulthood. We conduct social gatherings for families and members with Down syndrome; work skills programs; networking activities & fundraising events; & work with other organisations, businesses and groups to raise understanding and advocate for awareness of Down syndrome within the community.
