Jarrahdale Heritage Society Inc. objective is to preserve the historical character and integrity of Jarrahdale, Western Australia by stimulating public interest in, and support for, the retention and preservation of Jarrahdale’s history and heritage including its natural forest environment, historic sites, buildings, artefacts, and pictorial and oral history. Jarrahdale Heritage Society maintains a public museum that collects, classifies, and preserves records and artefacts relating to the history of Jarrahdale. It displays documents, photographs and artefacts in permanent and thematic exhibitions and provide and maintains a library and reading room and encourage the study and recording of Jarrahdale’s history. Jarrahdale Heritage Society will assist educational and special interest groups with project materials and will provide guides to historic sites. It shall commemorate notable anniversaries in Jarrahdale’s history and erect suitable signs and notices at places of historic interest.
