PRACE (Preston Reservoir Adult Community Education) is a registered not-for-profit charitable organisation committed to meeting the language, literacy and numeracy, vocational training and further education needs of the local community. PRACE has been running programs to achieve this since 1993. PRACE is regarded as a key English as an Additional Language, Literacy & Numeracy adult education provider in the Northern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne and has gained a national & international presence within the field through development and distribution of a range of literacy resources. PRACE also runs a number of youth programs and vocational education and training. PRACE also aims to provide support to adult migrants & refugees and assist them to learn English and employability skills. They also help people learn about Australian culture and help provide links to the local community. This can include providing information about travelling on public transport, buying groceries and joining a local library etc.
