Our palliative care service specialises in the care, support and comfort of people who have an incurable and life-threatening illness within the hospice or their homes. Our Services include: ~ Palliative care - medical and nursing care to patients and their families ~ Bereavement support and counselling ~ Caregiver Network Service - to find local community members who would be willing to assist a local carer ~ Wellbeing Service - Complementary therapies including massage and relaxation ~ Art Therapy Program ~ Education in palliative care - community, undergraduate, postgraduate, professional ~ Liaison with health practitioners ~ Research in palliative care ~ Social work services ~ Volunteer program - volunteers provide respite, practical and emotional support within the hospice and community
