The Office of the Public Advocate provides services to protect and promote the rights, interests and dignity of people with a disability (specially intellectual impairment, mental disorder, brain injury or dementia). These services include guardianship, advice, education, information, advocacy and support. The services are delivered by the Victorian Public Advocate, OPA employees and OPA volunteers.
