Bucklands Community, in Port Elliot, is a space designed for activities, connection and well-being, where everyone in the community can get together. The centre is on 48 acres of small buildings, gardens, woodlands, wetlands, and re-vegetation areas, and is within walking distance to Rattalanga-Bashams Reserve. Bucklands is a new venture of the local charity, Aspire to Inspire together. Aspire2 provide an inclusive, calm, autism friendly safe space for people to engage and reconnect to their local community, by providing activities and services to nurture, inspire and explore the varied and vibrant talents of our community. They have a unique, calming and spacious environment which allows them to provide the opportunity of a diverse range of programs. These range from life skills, horticulture and agriculture programs through to art, craft, gardening, relaxation, mindfulness, informative workshops, inter-generational skills sharing - mentoring programs, and indoor & outdoor activities for participants of all ages Bucklands aims to create a child safe and child friendly environment where all children and young people are respected, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
