Lionheart Camp for Kid’s vision is to have a connected, compassionate and caring society, where grief is seen as a natural, healthy and normal response to loss. This society will have well-adjusted, resilient people who have the skills and strategies to deal with adversity, and who are therefore more capable to make a strong contribution to society. To achieve this, we need a strong public understanding in the community that grief is a tough but normal journey. A life has ended but that is not the end of their life. It’s about reducing the fear of death and learning to live with loss.
