The Fathering Project

The Fathering Project's aim is to reduce the harms to young people and help young people by assisting men to become more effective fathers and father figures who are better able to assist young people to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. The Fathering Project will work collaboratively with schools and community groups to establish Dads Groups in schools. The Dads Groups will conduct activities for the fathers, and activities for fathers and their children to significantly increase engagement and enhance the fathers' parenting skills. The major aim is to prevent kids' harm and significantly reduce the risks of substance abuse, self-harm, and suicide.
