Neighbourhood House provides support for families and children in our local community, offering programs and activities important to the community. We provide support, resources and services designed to improve the health and wellbeing of all members of the community. The Centre is proudly run by a friendly and committed team of volunteers and paid staff, and is managed by a voluntary committee made up of people who live or work in our community. We welcome people from all walks of life to visit the Centre for support, information or referral, or to participate in the activities and events we offer. The Centre is also a place where you can get involved in community development work. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience in our community, and together we can take action to resolve local issues or address needs. Key community issues we are working on now include reducing social isolation and improving local access to affordable, healthy food.
