RoundTrip Foundation believe that travel can play a key role in fighting poverty. We encourage tourists, travellers and those just wandering around the globe to give back, in order to complete their journey. RoundTrip provides support to impoverished local communities through grassroot projects in Africa and Asia. We establish and fund projects around the following key areas: disadvantaged women and girls, education initiatives, employment training and families in local communities experiencing hardship. We do this by supporting our local partners: community-based groups and motivated individuals who know best how to help their own communities. We have seen first-hand how these projects change lives, and love connecting donors to them. We believe that development needs to be flexible and take into account the changing needs within a community. We have a bottom-up, grassroots approach and make small, targeted investments that act as a driver for sustainable change within local communities. Our areas of activity are currently in Southern Africa and Sri Lanka.
