Encounter Community Centre is a community based charity. We rely on volunteers to help run a variety of activities, and programs for the local community and people with disabilities. Basic computer training courses, for those wishing to develop their computer skills, are also provided. The aims of the Association are: > Manufacture quality hand made wooden toys and furniture. > Provide enjoyment and satisfaction for volunteers by running activities that challenge and entertain. > Run Pottery and Nursery gardening workshops. > Provide opportunities for people to practice their skills by being part of the workshops, marketing, computing or other programs.
