This Not For Profit organisation is dedicated to supporting the families of those who served our country. A volunteer position as Treasurer on our Board is vacant, we are seeking an individual with experience in accounting/ book keeping or financial skills. Experience with Xero preferred. Previous experience as aboard member preferred but not essential. Are you able to commit to a term as a board member, be reliable and responsible. Approx. 3 hours per week required. Monthly meetings.
Legacy is seeking a volunteer to help sustain and grow our services. We are seeking a person who is passionate about the work Legacy does, flexible and energetic with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will be maintaining our existing marketing channels and opening up new streams and developing new material. Promoting Legacy to sponsors, coordinating and assisting with Events. We envisage you will have previous experience or a recent graduate within relevant studies.
With a strong focus on advising, guiding and helping widows and widowers of veterans, you will be establishing a personal relationship with the people you visit. Legacy provides services and information on combating social isolation, living at home with dignity, and health and security. The successful volunteer will have excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, reliability and have a positive attitude. You must be able to commit 1-2 hours per week, long-term.
Mowing and whipper snipper the building grounds. Assistance with hedge pruning and a general tidy up of garden bed and outdoor areas.
Legacy provides services to families suffering after the injury or death of a spouse or parent during or after their defence force service. The role of Board Secretary needs someone who is proactive, positive and reliable. Because of the nature of the role we'd prefer a one year commitment. You'll attend meetings, prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and action items from the Board Meetings, and have a hand in general administration.
