Volunteers are matched with a specific resident and then visit regularly (minimum fortnightly).

Bus Driver Volunteers – Residential Aged Care

Volunteers drive the bus for resident outings including, shopping, scenic trips and other outings - some regular (weekly/fortnightly) and some one-off. Drivers with a Heavy Vehicle licence are particularly needed, although our smaller buses can be driven with a normal car licence. Our buses are housed at various sites (primarily Shelley), which may not be the site the specific outing is for. Bus driver shifts include picking up and dropping off the bus after the outing.
