Paws for A Purpose is looking for a leader (based in Australia) to start a project that will first analyse the current social situation for elderly people, and identify ‘gaps’ that are preventing or hindering them from having meaningful or ongoing relationships with pets. This may relate to elderly people’s existing pets (e.g. people who become physically incapacitated and cannot look after their pets on their own) or other pets (e.g. community-support dogs that visit a nursing home.
