Assist the Area Coordinators in the management of the Tasmanian Trail within a section of the Trail in or near the area you live.
This voluntary role is perfectly suited to a person with secretarial skills wanting to contribute in a meaningful way, or a young leader looking for an opportunity to gain invaluable secretarial experience.
This voluntary role is perfectly suited to a retired executive wanting to contribute their professional capabilities in a meaningful way, or a young leader looking for an opportunity to gain invaluable management experience. Please note, the Tasmanian Trail Management Committee would support the successful applicant to source funding to allow this role to transition from voluntary to paid.
If you have some experience in exploiting fundraising opportunities you could have the satisfaction of helping in the development of the Tasmanian Trail to make it a world class recreational destination. You would be responsible for the management of fundraising opportunities.
The Tasmanian Trail is divided into four areas for management purposes: North, Central Plateau, Derwent Valley and Huon. Area Coordinators, with the assistance of a small team, are responsible for the management of their respective areas.
Ivory's Rock has just started selling weekend accommodation through a public booking site. To maximise our exposure as an accommodation venue, we would like to promote through social media. Our current logo, promotional materials and copy are available to incorporate into this project.
