Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard have an opportunity for a Treasurer commencing officially from July 1st 2023. Can start at any time to undertake training in our Accounting and Wine system. The Accounting System and Network can be accessed online. This is a committee position -with ability to work remotely on email, phone & Zoom. Estimated hours 8-10 hours per week

As a Museum Ambassador you will play a key role in welcoming and assisting visitors to the Museum. You will contribute to the daily operation of our Museum Shop and support our exhibitions, public programs and special events. Joining our team is a great opportunity to grow your skills, expand your knowledge of our region and meet new people.

If you love meeting new people and being a helpful member of a friendly team this might be right for you. We are looking for capable people to assist with visitor admissions, visitor orientation and museum shop sales.

Do you like working outdoors? You'll be physically active and able to assist this heritage organisation to maintain their grounds (approximately 1 hectare) for the enjoyment of visitors. Tasks include mowing, mulching, trimming, weeding etc. Some gardening and grounds maintenance experience would be an advantage however, any interest in these fields would be appropriate. Main days of work are Mob and Wed. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.

Assist in managing the store of spare parts to maintain and service our fleet of vintage railway rolling stock. Our Depot facilities are located at Paterson.

We require a mature, experienced, business oriented and skilled grant writer and fundraiser to assist the museum with writing and submitting grant applications. Will also be required to source quotes, funding and grant opportunities and give advice and guidance to the committee.
