The Tramway Heritage Centre at Bylands is looking for able bodied persons to help clean and maintain our exhibits to a presentable standard for public inspection. No skills are necessary and all work materials and equipment will be provided. Work times will be on the designated operating days as listed. We would prefer volunteers to hold a current Working With Children Check Card.
Do you have a love of trains? We are looking for versatile volunteers and have several different positions to fill: Driver / Guard / Signaller / Maintenance Crew and the Kiosk. In each of these positions you can also assist with roles such as customer service, public direction, ticket collection, signal operation, guard, maintenance crew etc. and eventually the elevation to 'Train Driver' for those who are interested.
We are seeking corporate/ large groups (minimum 5+ people) to join our Environmental Team Members program. You will assist with the Environmental Management of our rail corridor, weeding, replanting and generally improving the biodiversity along our railway track.
