Our popular museum needs customer-friendly volunteers to enable us to expand our opening hours. We're looking for people to fill a range of customer service roles ranging from ticket sales at our front counter through to supervising the museum grounds as a roving guide. You don't need any prior knowledge of railways, we're far more interested your friendly and outgoing personality and ability to make our visitors feel welcome.
Under the direction of the Heritage Curators, this role will assist with the cataloguing of the RASV Heritage Collection; working in particular with paper-based items. Volunteer will use cataloguing software DB TextWorks. (Training available) Cataloguing requires physical assessment and measuring of objects, together with the accurate recording of specific details.
We need someone manage our existing Filemaker Pro Database system. Provide day to day support for the users including set-up and ongoing help.
