The 2019 World Indigenous Housing Conference will welcome delegates from around the world to improve access to adequate housing and related services for the World's Indigenous People. As an event volunteer, you will have a unique opportunity to support this important conference by welcoming delegates, assisting them navigate the centre and conference program, as well as providing information about some of the attractions the Gold Coast has to offer while they are here.

Mentor/Supervisor- Learner Driver Program - Brisbane

Help our Indigenous Boarding students to obtain their license by being a supervising driver while they gain their 100 mandatory Log book hours. Yalari has joined with PCYC to assist their students in obtaining their licence. Vehicles and training are provided by PCYC through the Breaking the Cycle Program. Training provided, 1 -2 hours per week over 12 months during school terms only.

The role of a Yalari tutor is very important as it offers another level of support to children who are studying away from home; away from their friends and family. Patient, flexible tutors are required to work with our Indigenous children who come from regional, rural and remote communities to attend boarding schools. Start date: 12 March 2018.
