We are now seeking a general committee member with experience in marketing, advertising and communications to join the Stroke SA Committee. It’s a 2-year committee term approximately 5-10 hours per month.
The secretary role is a 2-year committee term, committing to approximately 2 hours work per week. The secretary is responsible for calling meetings, keeping records incorporation, including the Constitution, policies, member register, meeting minutes, correspondence and submissions. The Secretary also takes minutes at all committee meetings, special general meetings (SGMs) and on annual general meetings (AGMs). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are very important to the role.
This is a voluntary position that can be done from the volunteers own home.

Epilepsy ACT are starting an online video self-help support group once a month for 2 hours for people with Epilepsy and their family and friends. We are looking for a facilitator to provide a safe welcoming place for people to meet, share their thoughts and experiences and gain support. The Facilitator also provides signposting to other services and will sometimes provide activities of interest or speakers at the groups to help members and give information.
