We are looking for volunteers to help sort incoming donations into beautifully put together bundles of clothing, toys, toiletries for babies and children. These gifts are sent out through a network of social service organisations to families in need right across Tasmania.
Early Support for Parents is seeking a qualified member to join their Board of Management Committee as the Treasurer.
Expressions of Interest are being sought from suitably qualified persons for the position of Treasurer.
You will provide:
- General financial oversight, oversee and present budgets, accounts and financial statements to the Management Committee;
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Financial reporting to Government
- Banking, book-keeping and record-keeping

Doorways to Parenting (DTP) is seeking a 'Playgroup Assistant' to provide assistance and support to the two DTP workers during Doorways to Parenting Facilitated Playgroups. This includes assisting with setting up and packing down the playgroup and preparing food for children, supporting the management of handovers between foster carers and DTP staff.
Facilitated Playgroups are an interactive child/parent playgroup where the parent is primarily responsible for care and supervision of their child

Basic record keeping skills/experience would be beneficial. All training and support provided however. Interest in working in a child care setting would be great. This is not a child minding service, parents stay with their own children - your role will be to assist with the running of the centre.
