Assistance in this program is provided by skilled volunteers. The library is looking for a volunteer to help seniors, on a one-to-one basis, at Logan North Library for 2 hours on Saturday mornings.

This role plays a vital role in helping us to raise public awareness of arthritis, its risk factors and impacts. Arthritis Ambassadors are specially trained for this role and provided with all the resources necessary to deliver community presentations.
The Ready Reading program aims to improve literacy for children in Queensland through training parents and community members to support children’s reading. Working in partnership with the Queensland Government Department of Education, the Ready Reading program will train up to 3,000 mums, dads, carers and members of the community to share their knowledge and time and foster a love of reading in Queensland primary school classrooms.
