Do you enjoy engaging meeting new people and have a keen interest in design and craft? Design Tasmania are looking for volunteers to provide front of house services - introducing visitors to our iconic galleries, temporary exhibitions and the Design Tasmania Wood Collection. Other duties may include supporting workshops and events, guided tours of the exhibitions, processing of entry fees, catalogues and other items.

They will need: A demonstrated ability to create and edit web pages using html5 and css 3 Some knowledge of JavaScript Access to software like Adobe Dreamweaver to make best use of the templates for the site, and photo editing software for adding photos to the site. This would suit someone retired who wants to keep their skills up, or someone with some skills who wants to create a track record for their resumé.
