The unique Willunga Almond Blossom Festival will be celebrating its 50th year in the last weekend in July 2019. Funds raised by the Festival will continue to contribute to the improvements of Willunga's Recreation Park and volunteers are welcome to contribute at any level in one of the following aspects of the Festival from the list below: 50th Historical display, Coordinator of music / competitions / street parade / dance / lunch, photography / video / website / marketing / surveying crowd.
Cinemallunga is a non for profit organisation providing Community Cinema events, showcasing feature films with an emphasis on fun and frivolity. Audience participation is highly encouraged. The show takes place every 2 months & moviegoers are encouraged to dress up in line with the movie's theme.Volunteering opportunities include banner painting/kitchen & catering duties/bar/promotions/hall set up & decorating/tech skills/hall cleaning/ chair stacking. Having a good sense of humour is a bonus.
Holden Street Theatres is known as the 'Home of Theatre' during Fringe, consisting of 4 performance spaces located onsite and 2 performance spaces located offsite within close proximity. Holden Street Theatres requires a number of volunteers during the 2020 Fringe Festival to fulfill a number of positions. The following volunteer positions are on offer: - Front of House - Box Office - Usher - Assistant Caterer/Cashier
Theatre attendants will assist in the 2019 Just Add Water Program during the April to June period. Duties will include assisting patrons, if required, to their seating , ensuring the comfort, wellbeing and safety of guests and assisting front of house manager with duties as required.
Gallery Assistants are a part of an exciting creative environment and work work amongst a team of engaging, committed and creative individuals. Gallery Assistants play a key role in the day to day running of our Galleries to ensure the Galleries are welcoming and friendly environments. Tasks include patrolling the galleries to ensure visitors abide by gallery regulations and assist with clearing visitors from the premises at closing time. Good people skills and ability to respond to enquiries.
Volunteers wanted to Conduct Tours to show community and school groups the "behind the scenes" of the ABC in Adelaide. A great Volunteer opportunity for a wide range of people; including uni students, retired people and people with free time.
