Our museum guides work as part of a team to show individuals and small groups around our convict and early Queensland history museum. You will take group tours of school children, community and social groups and Australian and international tourists, although groups will not be more than 10 - 20 people. A current Blue Card is essential and we can arrange an application if you do not have one. All training provided.

We have 4 permanent bands that perform regularly: the Queensland Mounted Infantry Historical Troop Band, the Queensland Show Band, the Bayside Youth Band and QSHBA Drum Corps. With current volunteers focused on teaching and performance roles, we need 1 or more volunteers to help keep us going behind the scenes, assisting with clerical duties, band room maintenance, as well as library and asset management.
