The DoggieRescue Customer Service team is an invaluable part of life at the DoggieRescue shelter (Doggiewood). Our Customer Service team welcomes visitors to Doggiewood who may be interested in fostering or adopting a dog, or volunteering to walk or cuddle a dog. DoggieRescue is looking for Customer Service volunteers both at the weekend and during the week (excluding Mondays). Volunteers must be over 18 years old.
The role will require a person who has the ability and experience to work within a data base system, add data into the NSW Companion Animal Register. The volunteer will require the ability to work in a confidential matter and have experience in admin skills and data bases.
Provide customer service, help sort and sell fantastic second-hand goods in our fabulous Op Shop. All sales help raise money for the Cat Protection Society Welfare programs. Please note this volunteer position is retail based and does not involve working with any of the cats or kittens in our care.
